Aesthetic Restorations

  • Composite Fillings/Tooth Colored Fillings

Composite Resins provide a more aesthetic dental restoration than the traditional amalgam/silver filling. Composite resin is used for filling dental cavities or for bonding front teeth. It  consists of glass or quartz filler added to a resin medium, which produces a tooth-colored filling. This plastic and glass mixture contains no metal and can be shaped to resemble a real tooth.

  • Veneers

Veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size or length. Veneers can be made from porcelain or from resin composite materials. Porcelain veneers resist stains better than resin veneers and better mimic the light-reflecting properties of natural teeth.

  • Crowns

    • All-Ceramic or All-Porcelain Crowns provide the best natural color match than any other crown type and may be more suitable for people with metal allergies.  All-ceramic crowns are a good restoration choice for front teeth.
    • Porcelain Fused to Metal Crowns are one of dentistry's primary restorations of choice.  They are strong, reliable and aesthetic. Porcelain fused to metal crowns are good restorations for both front and back teeth. These crowns are strong enough to withstand heavy biting forces and can have an excellent cosmetic appearance.

  • Implant Restorations

A Dental Implant is a small, sturdy, titanium post that acts as the root structure would for a natural tooth. A dental implant is placed into your upper or lower jaw bone. After the bone has grown around the implant, implants can hold a crown, bridge or over-denture just like roots hold natural teeth in place. Implants are very durable and can last a lifetime. They require the same maintenance as natural teeth; this includes brushing, flossing and regular dental check-ups.

A single tooth or a full arch of teeth which have been lost due to injury or disease can be replaced with dental implants. Titanium metal is used because of its compatibility with bone and oral tissues.
